 SERVICE HOUR FORMS

We encourage ALL students to be involved in community service & volunteering.

By being involved in our community you are helping to serve the needs of others.  At the same time, you are building your resume and learning about yourself and your interests.  Through service, you are given the opportunity to develop your soft skills, network with others, explore career fields, show commitment, and make an impact.  Community service is also something that many colleges look at when considering admission.   Service Hour Guidlines are here.

 Document Your Hours

All high school students are expected to complete 80 hours of service by the spring semester of their senior year. Completed service hour forms must be returned to your counselor to be placed in your career folder.  High school students can begin completing their hours as early as the summer before their freshman year.

Mrs. Gadams has service hour forms in her office or you can print this form

Shared Vision

Merrol Hyde Magnet School is a unique, K-12 learning community that uses the Paideia philosophy of educating the whole child--mind, body, and spirit--to meet the needs of students.  We will provide intentional, rigorous, accelerated college-preparatory instruction focused on humanities and critical and creative thinking.

We will create a collaborative community where students and teachers actively engage in continual growth and learning, seek out and civilly discuss diverse ideas and values, and pursue solutions to enrich their lives and the lives of others.
