MHMS is proud to announce that we have three National Merit Semifinalist in the 62nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program.  These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth about $33 million that will be offered next spring. 

These students competed with 1.6 million juniors in more than 22,000 high schools entered the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2015 Preliminary SAT (PSAT/NMSQT), which served as the initial screen of program entrants.  We are very proud to introduce our 2016 National Merit Semi-finalists: Connor Homer, Yujun Jung, and Christine Elise Colter
