The MHMS Counselors guide students through the college admissions process by providing information on the college search, testing, financial aid and scholarships. 

College Admissions

At Merrol Hyde, we understand the importance of helping students to prepare for the college admission process.  100% of our students are college-bound.  We work closely with our students to ensure they are aware of the many important steps one must take leading up to their senior year and during their senior year.  Mrs. Gadams hosts many senior meetings throughout the year to help guide students through the college admission process.  In addition to this, our school-wide advisory for seniors provides students with the support, education, and time needed to work their way through this process.

Financial aid can come from federal, state, school, and private sources to help you pay for college.

Merrol Hyde Magnet School is a unique, K-12 learning community that uses the Paideia philosophy of educating the whole child--mind, body, and spirit--to meet the needs of students.  We will provide intentional, rigorous, accelerated college-preparatory instruction focused on humanities and critical and creative thinking.
