The Merrol Hyde boys soccer team is a prestigious program led by Head Coach Jim Carr, Assistant Coach Daniel Brooks, Assistant Coach Mikey Oaks, and JV Coach Jonathan Malone. The Hawks went (12-4-2) (W-L-T) in the 2014 spring season. After going 10-2-2 in the regular season, the Hawks won their first two district tournament games. However, facing good competition, the Hawks lost the District Finals to Murfreesboro Central Magnet. The Hawks still went through to Sectionals and lost a hard fought game to Signal Mountain bringing their final record to the above stated 12-4-2. Topping off the Hawks season, the Hawks had 3 players make first team all-district, 3 players make second team all-district, and they won the district goalie of the year award. The Hawks were led by Senior captains Patrick Carr, Trevor Skeith, Derek DeVries, and John Clinton. The Hawks played their first season on their newly built field and it was one to remember. They look forward to continuing their success in the upcoming 2015 season.  more information at mhmssoccer.com
