Circle Up The primary goal of Lady Hawks soccer is the development of student-athletes that display strong character and integrity. As a student, the main priorities are academics and accountability in the classroom. Academic excellence is expected and is promoted at all times. As an athlete, each player is expected to become technically skilled, have discipline, display a strong work ethic, and follow the principles of good sportsmanship. Two important components in elevating our success are creating an environment that promotes the team concept and a commitment to hard work. By combining these elements, a fundamentally sound team that works hard and plays with class will represent Merrol Hyde Magnet School. Womens' high school soccer is open to girls in grades 8-12. Tryouts are in May of the previous year and open to any new students at the beginning of the next school year. Conditioning begins in May and runs through the summer. The season is August through October. Head Coach: Jason Bentley

Shared Vision

Merrol Hyde Magnet School is a unique, K-12 learning community that uses the Paideia philosophy of educating the whole child--mind, body, and spirit--to meet the needs of students.  We will provide intentional, rigorous, accelerated college-preparatory instruction focused on humanities and critical and creative thinking.

We will create a collaborative community where students and teachers actively engage in continual growth and learning, seek out and civilly discuss diverse ideas and values, and pursue solutions to enrich their lives and the lives of others.
