Merrol Hyde Magnet

MH Hawk

One of the founding goals of Merrol Hyde Magnet School is to develop our students into well-rounded citizens, focusing on educating the body, mind, and spirit.  In regards to this, we require all of our students, grades 7-12, to participate in one sport per school year. Students are required to attend all practices and games in order to meet this requirement. Please use the information that follows to pick the sport that is best suited for you and your child. Please be aware that you may need to provide transportation to and from practices and/or games if they are off the school campus. High school sports can include eighth graders because we are a K-12 school.  Some sports have already conducted tryouts for the next school year, but late tryouts may be conducted on a coach by coach basis.

Physicals are a requirement for every sport and should be given to your coach or Coach Duke before the first practice in your season.  Please keep a copy of the physical at home.
