Hawk Rock and Roll
On April 28th, 2018 from 5-10 p.m. you're invited to attend Merrol Hyde’s 4th annual Hawk Rock! Hawk Rock is a music festival for students to perform in and enjoy listening to a variety of music played. The purpose of Hawk Rock is to raise money for the MHMS DECA Club. All of the profits go towards scholarships for the club’s competitors to travel to their conferences at state and national levels.
Hawk Rock includes performers in bands, solo acts, guitarists, saxophone players, pianists, and more! The performances are all family friendly and are able to be enjoyed by all ages. This year, the headliner is CMA’s “Upcoming Band of the Year” winner, MamaDear. For the kids, there will be activities such as face painting, four square, and more. There will be food trucks including BoJangles and RipTide Ice set up as well, so bring your appetite and have dinner while listening to live music.
