Community Seminar - Oct 22nd or Oct 23rd
In Paideia schools, Socratic seminar is a collaborative, intellectual dialogue facilitated by open-ended questions about a text. The goal of a Paideia seminar is to deepen understanding of ideas, concepts, and values. Socratic seminars are about critical thinking and civil discourse. Please join us on Oct 22nd or Oct 23rd for our next community seminar. We will be discussing the text, "The Peaceable Kingdom" by Edward Hicks.
U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos recognized 349 schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2018. The recognition is based on a school's overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. The coveted National Blue Ribbon Schools award affirms the hard work of educators, families and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging and engaging content.
Now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year. The online application process is open from September 17th through December 14th. You must be a resident of Sumner County at the time of application. Kindergarten applicants must be 5 yrs. old by August 15.
