Second Grade Supply List
2 boxes #2 pencils (10 count or more)
1 pair Fiskars pointed scissors
1 box or 24 crayons (no larger boxes please) colored pencils
and markers
are optional but not required.
2 glue sticks
1 bottle of glue
3 boxes of Kleenex
1 clear shoebox with lid
10 pocket folders with brads (2-blue, 2-red, 2-yellow,
2-purple, and
2-green)
1 bag of individually wrapped candy or gummies for treat box
(no gum please
or nuts as we have some allergies)
1 bag of toys for prize box (toys, stickers, pencils,
etc....***make sure
there is nothing remotely related to weapons of any kind)
1 pump bottle of hand sanitizer
1 bottle of Clorox wipes
1 package dry erase markers (large tip)
2 yellow hghlighters
4 red ink pens
2 boxes baby wipes or 1 large refill package
1 package of flat erasers
2 composition notebooks (bound-not spiral, black and white
cover)
1 package brightly colored Xerox paper or a package of
construction paper
1 package handwriting paper. This can be purchased at the
Parent-Teacher
Store at Rivergate or School Sales and Services in Gallatin
(across from
Guild Elementary)
1 clipboard (plain, brown, around $1.00)
1- 1 1/2 inch bider (notebook) with clear pocket front
1-plastic pencel pouch - the kind with metal rings around
the 3-holes with
metal zipper lasts the longest (place inside binder, remove
tags)
1 package of 5 plastic slash pockets for binders (open
package, place
inside binder behind pencil pouch)
Second grade fees are $65.00 and are due Registration Day.
Parents please note: We request that the chilren not bring
trappers
keepers, manual pencil sharpeners, or mechanical
pencils. Each item needs
to have your child's name written on it-even each
crayon. Also, please
remove any individual items like erasers from the packaging
and write your
child's name on them before bringing them to school. Place
pencils,
scissors, glue, crayons, erasers, highlighters, and pens
inside plastic
shoebox. This saves us so much time on the first day of
school. Thanks so
