Mission Statement
The mission of the MHMS Parent Teacher Organization is to build a strong sense of community and a strong foundation of support to the students, faculty, administration and families at MHMS. The PTO will provide a mechanism where everyone can come together to identify the student and teacher resource needs, freely express and exchange ideas, and establish and achieve goals that will enrich our children's educational experience.

What Does the MHMS PTO Do?
The PTO is organized into eight committees, each performing a significant role to support the students and faculty and to build a progressive educational environment. The committees include: Hospitality, Communications, Library, Technology, Campus/Grounds, Fine Arts, Grade Representatives, and Fundraising. Here is our proposed budget for 2006-2007:

Box Tops, Campbell’s Labels for Education and Tyson Project A+ all have one thing in common: they equal $$$ for our school.

All participating products are marked with these logos and are ready to cut and send in.

This makes it very easy to turn your trash into cash for our school!

Just clip the appropriate label and put in separate baggies with child’s name and teacher and send them in.

Our SCRIP Program can offer you gift cards from hundreds of retailers nationwide, giving a percentage % back to our school each time you order. Send your check made out to MHMS PTO to school on Mondays and receive your gift cards on Fridays, viva your child. Ritter’s Frozen Custard is now available, giving 10% back to our school with a min. order of $5, (add this product to your check…it is not yet available online).
