Here is an easy way to help our two libraries to get more books into our collections! Gather up all those unneeded and unwanted books that are cluttering up your bookshelves and donate them to the libraries. Those items that cannot be added to our collection can be traded for credit at the new bookstore called McKay’s Used Books located at the corner of White Bridge and Charlotte Avenues. The credit we receive can then be used to purchase critically needed titles for both libraries! This will cost us nothing and Mrs. Weedman will look for any reason to go to a bookstore to buy books!! She has already built up about $930 worth of credit that will go a long, long way to buy wonderful books for our students. We DO NOT want textbooks, Reader’s Digests, books in poor condition, or ex-library copies. We DO want both paperbacks and hardbacks and both children’s and adult titles. Just box up the stuff you don’t want anymore and bring it to the library and we’ll take it from there! We appreciate your continuing support! |
